Commercial Leader & 2IC at Glyn High Tech Distribution — ANZ
Engineering background, commercial discipline. I build the operating systems that turn growing businesses into scalable ones — and I'm beginning to share what I've learned with the next generation of sales managers.
About
I started as an embedded systems engineer in Brazil, writing firmware for ARM and 8051 microcontrollers. That technical foundation never left me — it's what lets me sit across the table from a CTO and a CFO in the same week and speak both languages credibly.
Today I operate as Second in Command at Glyn High Tech Distribution across Australia and New Zealand, reporting directly to the owners. I lead a team of 26 across sales, operations, customer service and New Zealand, with full P&L responsibility and a formal succession pathway to Director.
Over the past three years I led the business through a commercial turnaround — restoring growth, lifting revenue roughly 40% year on year, and building the management operating system the company didn't have before: KPIs, Power BI reporting, governance, and a Product Management function created from zero.
Experience
Twelve years bridging engineering and commercial — across three countries, two industries, and every layer from microcontroller datasheet to shareholder boardroom.

Promoted to lead the NZ sales and technical teams during a period of significant growth and pressure from the global distribution majors.
Technical sales and business development for embedded, IoT and power management solutions across New Zealand. Bridged engineering and commercial teams. Consistently exceeded sales and gross profit targets.

Embedded firmware and control systems for weighing and industrial-automation products. Where the engineering foundations were built.
Coaching — Coming Soon
When I was promoted into management, I learned that running a team is not the same job as being a great individual contributor. I had to build the structure I'd never been given — KPIs, forecasting, governance, the way decisions get made. That's where I plan to focus my coaching practice: working with sales leaders who've outgrown their original operating model and need to install the next one.
Sales KPIs, forecasting cadence, pipeline reviews, reporting discipline. The infrastructure that lets a team scale without you in every conversation.
Margin management, account strategy, pricing frameworks, supplier negotiations. Turning gut-feel decisions into repeatable judgment.
Going from doer to leader — building team structure, hiring deliberately, and learning to be measured by what your people deliver.
